SUPPORT A MISSIONARY:
Cru Campus Missionary
Share the Gospel with a college student!
Do you know that just 15% of people become Christians after the age of 14?! And Campus Renewal statistics show that 70% of Christian students leave their faith in their first year of college. In addition, secular colleges are becoming increasingly hostile to Biblical values and principles.
Cru started as Campus Crusade for Christ in 1951. It is currently on over 1,300 college campuses in the U.S. alone. Cru is a community passionate about connecting people to Jesus Christ. Each Cru missionary's purpose is helping to fulfill the Great Commission in the power of the Holy Spirit by winning people to faith in Jesus Christ.
My son, Austin Burton, CRU missionary.
Let Austin tell you about his ministry in his own words:
"I want to dedicate my life to the spread of the Gospel. I am a missionary with Cru, an organization dedicated to making sure everyone knows someone who truly follows Jesus.
"I will be sharing the Gospel with students, leading small groups and Bible studies, participating in conferences, and mentoring students. I am excited to give students the chance to hear truths they are unlikely to hear otherwise on a college campus."
Austin has been assigned to two college campuses. Like most missionaries, he must raise his own monthly support. He will report to these campuses when he reaches this full monthly support goal. He is so excited to get there and begin his ministry in earnest! He would love to talk to you and tell you more about his ministry and how you can partner with him in this life-changing opportunity.
Austin graduated with honors from a Bible college, and has experience serving in the local church, leading an adult Bible study, and evangelizing. In addition, he has a YouTube channel dedicated to apologetics--giving a defense of the reason for the hope within him with gentleness and respect. 1 Peter 3:15 (ESV)
